Frisco, Texas (March 22, 2012) – Glen Mowrey, national law enforcement liaison, for the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), has been recognized by the prestigious Florida Police Chiefs Association (FPCA)  for his contribution to Florida law enforcement.

The award was presented to Glen during the FPCA’s 2012 Winter Conference in St. Augustine, Florida. The organization thanked Mowrey for his “unwavering support” to Florida’s law enforcement community and the Florida Police Chiefs Association.

“I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award," FPCA Executive Director Amy Mercer stated. "His level of expertise in the field of Alarm Management has become a tremendous asset to Florida’s Law Enforcement Community in combating False Alarms.  I applaud his efforts.”

“This award recognizes Glen’s outstanding work over the past seven years and SIAC’s mission of working in partnership with law enforcement throughout the United States to better serve and protect communities in the United States,” said Stan Martin, SIAC executive director.

The award also recognizes Glen’s contribution and assistance to the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) President Walt McNeil.

“We are pleased to see Glen’s hard work recognized,” said Martin.  “No one works harder or puts more effort into helping law enforcement agencies develop and implement effective alarm policies with a proven record of success.”

“Glen’s own law enforcement career has given him a unique perspective that is invaluable to our industry, elected officials and leaders in law enforcement,” said Martin.
