SIAC congratulates The Monitoring Association’s (TMA) Celia Besore for her recent selection to the 2021 Class of Fellows selected by The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Nine other association executives were honored in this year’s Class of Fellows. The program bestows honorary recognition upon exceptional association leaders making noteworthy and sustained contributions of leadership to their organizations.

We have known Celia for many years. When we look at what this honor means, there couldn’t be a more appropriate person to receive this recognition.

Celia has served tirelessly and for the good of TMA as well as the electronic security association for many years. She gets things done professionally and in a way that calls attention to the positive side of what our industry provides to customers. Her smile is infectious. She actively listens to your concerns, and then steps forward to do something about them.

Those qualities apply to Celia as a human being – we are fortunate she brings them to our industry. Her presence makes others in the electronic security industry more successful as she personalizes our businesses and the products and services we offer.

On the alarm management front, Celia has always been available to SIAC and to take any necessary steps from TMA to help us publicize our efforts or engage monitoring companies in some of our initiatives. This gives SIAC greater visibility and buy-in, both important to us doing our job successfully.

Congratulations, Celia. We can’t think of anyone more deserving for your selection to the Class of Fellows.
