We’ve known Mitch Reitman for a LONG time. He’s served the electronic security industry in multiple capacities, demonstrating financial acuity, steadfastness and an expert knowledge to ensure companies and organizations meet their accounting demands accurately and within the intent of the law. It isn’t sexy what Mitch does, but it’s very important to every client he advises and works for.
SIAC salutes Mitch for recently being named TBFAA Person of the Year, and for his involvement with a multitude of industry organizations. He joined TBFAA as a member in 1996 and as a financial advisor in 2007. Additionally, he has held leadership roles on boards of ESA and AIREF.
His company has been the financial advisor to SIAC and board, reviewing SIAC financials/accounts for well over ten years. Like Mitch, his team is professional and accurate. Mitch supports a multitude of state chapters. There is hardly a meeting where he doesn’t attend and is always ready to provide a seminar on contact labor laws, tax changes. He is an outstanding individual who is always ready to help a chapter or dealer.
Beyond his long-term involvement and advice provided to our industry, Mitch has always been available to provide an inside financial perspective to the security industry. That’s invaluable so that businesses and associations operate within the bounds of the law.
Our positive memories of Mitch are many. What stands out is Mitch’s availability. Mitch attends many industry meetings and you can speak with him if you had a concern. When new accounting legislation was passed, you knew Mitch would know exactly what security companies needed to do to comply. He has the knowledge and shares it so our industry operates the right way.
Thank you, Mitch, for all that you do. SIAC is proud that TBFAA honored you as Person of the Year, and we salute you as well for your major SIAC contributions and those you provide our industry.
