The Security Industry Association (SIA) recently launched a new initiative to bring together security industry professionals in an environment to foster better business relationships. It’s a great concept and one SIAC supports. The first session is coming up this week, February 18 in Marina Del Rey, California. Sounds like a nice place to us to catch up with others in the security industry. Contact SIA’s Alain Taylor at ataylor@securityindustry.org for information.

You don’t need to be a SIA member to attend the networking events. You may just want to learn more about the industry or make new connections. Whatever your reason, we’re confident you’ll gain ideas to improve your business by attending. Invite other industry colleagues, introduce new employees to the industry, expand your professional network.

After the California session, SIA will follow up with other meetings around the country, including Long Island, N.Y. in late April, Chicago, IL in mid-June, Dallas, TX in early September, South Florida in early October, San Francisco, CA and New York City in early December.

Stay tuned to SIA for further details. We hope to see you at one of the sessions.
