Sometimes we sound like a broken record. For that we apologize. We believe strongly in many of the forums put on by ESA, CSAA, SIA and CANASA, not just because those associations came together to form SIAC. No, beyond our connection and mutual interests, the sessions introduced when one of these security associations steps to the plate as a player in a conference tend to be remarkably pointed and useful to those in our industry.
Just this past week, ESX 2016 took place in Fort Worth, Texas. We repeatedly urged folks through our blog, Twitter and Facebook accounts to attend, and we hope you did. If so, we expect you found it useful for training, business development and new ideas for technology to employ in your business. We did.
Beyond that, we introduced a new concept at our SIAC meeting, and through CSAA and ESA. It is a simple, safe and secure new way to contribute to SIAC. We know many companies would like to set aside a monthly contribution, rather than make a once-a-year bigger donation. We explained our new concept to set up a rolling smaller contribution on a monthly basis that is sent and deposited electronically and automatically. We hope you check it out.
We received excellent feedback on this new contribution method, and hope you’ll consider joining our “Sustaining Partner” ranks if you haven’t already. As we like to say, “We put in the time fighting bad ordinances and developing good relationships with local law enforcement so you can continue to concentrate on running your business.” But as a non-profit, we can’t do that good work without your help. So, please consider a contribution if you have not already done so.
