Scottsdale Police Department is seeking help to address a series of recent residential burglaries in the city.
In order to help do this, Scottsdale PD is requesting alarm companies and monitoring stations that service addresses in the city of Scottsdale (especially in North Scottsdale) first notify the Scottsdale Police Department when alarms are activated between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Any false alarm fees incurred during these hours will be waived.
They are requesting this change in order to encourage quicker response times as they relate to the recent burglaries.
